PERSONAL THESIS LEON
I have always been passionate about team sports, which seamlessly translates into my enthusiasm for high-performing commercial teams. Just like in a football game, every team member has a specific role to play. Success isn’t about having just one outstanding player; it’s about having a cohesive team where everyone understands their strengths and areas needing support.
This passion led me to work for OneFit, a sports marketplace, and Eversports, a sports SaaS company. At both companies, I thrived on growing people, teams, and organizations. I particularly enjoy the excitement of starting something new and achieving rapid growth. However, my experience with Vesper made me realize the crucial importance of a company’s purpose. Working for organizations with a strong, motivating purpose truly drives my enthusiasm and commitment.
While I am driven by the winning mentality and team dynamics found in high-performing environments, the ideal situation for me is within the sports industry. Combining my love for sports with a purposeful, dynamic work environment allows me to channel my passion into meaningful and impactful work.
On a personal note, I am happily married and living in Amsterdam, where I am the proud father of 8-year-old twins and a 4-year-old. My family life enriches my perspective and fuels my dedication to creating a positive impact both professionally and personally. And in case you missed it...
